Contact information for Seal Sitters

Seal Sitter Marine Mammal Stranding Network Hotline: 206-905-SEAL (7325)
If there is a seal or other marine mammal on the beach and our hotline volunteer does not immediately answer your call, please leave a voicemail containing as much information as possible regarding the location and condition of the animal (as well as your name and contact phone number). Keep in mind that this line is sometimes not answered late at night due to staffing issues. Our first responder will look for the seal at first light in the morning, as it is difficult to locate and assess the health of animals in the darkness.
Seal Sitters responds to both live and dead marine mammals from Brace Point (south of Fauntleroy ferry dock in West Seattle) to Kayak Point in Snohomish County, just north of Everett.
For all other areas, please call the NOAA Hotline: 1-800-853-1964.
